kim field and the perfect gentlemen record new album at falcon studios and roseleaf recording in portland
Kim Field and the Perfect Gentlemen have completed recording their new album. Initial sessions were done at Falcon Studios with Dennis Carter as the engineer. Additional sessions were held at Roseleaf Recording with Jimi Bott as engineer. The record is being produced and mixed by recording industry veteran Dave Darling, who has produced many name acts, including Brian Setzer and Janiva Magness. The Soul Survivor Horns (Joe McCarthy on trumpet, Chris Mercer on tenor saxophone, and Rob Rayfield on baritone sax) contributed to several cuts, and Paul deLay Band veteran Louis Pain played organ on two numbers. The album will consist of ten original tunes by Kim Field and Vyasa Dodson and one cover. Release is scheduled for early spring. Look for it!
